Jeni Seo is an acting coach, director, and actor specialising in psychophysical performance training and interdisciplinary approaches to actor development.
She trained as an actor at Dongguk University, Korea, and has taught across the UK and internationally, integrating East Asian movement practices with contemporary Western actor training. Holding an MFA with Distinction in Actor Training and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Jeni has worked with emerging and professional performers to refine their craft through embodied practice. Her coaching experience includes working with actors at all levels, including an Emmy-winning performer.
As a performer and director, her work spans theatre, screen, and devised performance, with a strong focus on spontaneity, presence, and cross-cultural storytelling. She has collaborated with leading practitioners and institutions, including Burning Sun (BBC documentary), The Acolyte (Disney+), The Apology (The Arcola Theatre), and New Earth Academy (New Earth Theatre), exploring innovative methodologies in performer training.
Jeni is currently a Principal Lecturer at BIMM University on the Performing Arts course.
